GPS are recruiting exclusively for ex-military personnel to join us in the ever-growing events industry. The events industry is a field in which Great Britain truly leads the world and offers an amazing variety of work with a huge range of long-term employment opportunities.

Here at GPS we are looking for people who enjoy physical work, crave variety in their job but also want to work within a defined structure with like-minded people.

Team work is essential in this job, as is the desire to maintain the highest standards whilst putting in consistently hard work.

From building stages and rigging lighting and audio to putting up temporary structures and loading and unloading vehicles, your place of work can be anything from exhibition halls to festival fields, world-class stadiums to music, cultural and sporting venues.

Hours can be long but that just means you will take more home at the end of the month. You’ll always be working with similar people, so whilst the work is hard it will also be enjoyable.

GPS will give you all the support and training you will need to build a meaningful second career and have clear and achievable opportunities for promotion and pay rises.

Global Production Squad provides quality crews to contractors, venues, and international sporting and cultural events.

At the end of that day, you will be offered 3 shifts of paid work as your probation period after which you will receive your team uniform and kit and become a full GPS crew member.
